Kambo's Homemaker Superstore – Conditions of Purchase
In these Terms and Conditions "we" and "us" mean Kamb Investments Pty Ltd CAN 008 904 023 ABN 89 361 635 320 Trading As Kambo's Homemaker Superstore - 738 Marshall Road, Malaga WA 6090, and "you" means you the customer.
These Terms and Conditions together with your Sales Order constitute the entire Contract between you and us for the supply of products. The Contract cannot be varied unless we agree to vary it in writing or by email. Kambo's advises the pictures are for illustration purposes only and therefore may not reflect the correct model specified.
Before we get into it, and as you probably know already, we've got a few links to other sites; that's just part and parcel of operating on the web. At any rate, Kambo's isn't responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other web sites. The chances are excellent that you'll have no issues with them, but we can't be at all places at all times to guarantee it.
Server Logging & Web Site Cookies
Each customer's computer uses an IP (Internet Protocol) address when they are online, which is logged by our server. We use your IP address to identify your web site use, assist in the ordering process, help diagnose any problems with your order and our server in general, and to gather broad demographic information such as visitor numbers.
How We Collect Customer Information
Kambo's also gathers information about customers through:
- Shopping cart order forms
- My Account contact profile update form
- Online surveys (an opt-in choice)
- Promotional contests (an opt-in choice)
- Newsletter registration form (an opt-in choice)
- Culinary program registration form (opt-in choice)
- Contact Us email form
How We Use This Information
The information we obtain from you is used for these purposes:
- To process payments for product purchases and send you items you have ordered
- To contact you if necessary (regarding your purchase or contact details provided)
- To generate purchasing statistics from online surveys and competitions (an opt-in choice)
- To contact you if you win a competition (an opt-in choice)
- To send you information about our company/products and promotional material from some of our partners (if you join one of our mailing lists, an opt-in choice)
- To send you information from our culinary program (if you join the culinary program, an opt-in choice)
- To answer any general queries you submit via our contact us email form
The Kambo's web site allows our customers the following communication opportunities:
- Opting in or out of receiving communications from our web site and our partners
- Correcting or updating your information in the My Account area
- Contacting us via our contact form
Western Australia Sales Only (Packages under 12KG will be shipped free of charge with Perth petro area only via Australia post)
We only sell and ship large products (Whitegoods, Televisions etc) within Western Australia. We will not make large deliveries outside of Western Australia. Homeware sales exceeding 12KG and being delivered outside of Perth metro will also incur a delivery fee.

Australia Wide Deliveries
We will deliver Homewares Australia wide, homeware sales under $100 will incur a postage delivery fee. Eparcels exceeding 12KG and being delivered outside of WA will incur a postage fee.
Legal Capacity To Transact
If you are under the age eighteen (18) years you cannot place Sales Orders with Kambos.
By accepting these Terms and Conditions you acknowledge that you are over the age of eighteen (18) years.
Should Kambo's suffer any damage or other losses as a result of a transaction entered into by a minor, Kambo's reserves the right to seek compensation for such losses from the parents or guardians of the minor who caused any order(s) to be placed with Kambo's.
Placing Your Order
You may place a Sales Order by following the steps in our shopping cart facitity on the Kambo's Web Site and clicking the "Submit My Sales Order" button.
When you place your Sales Order, we will issue you with a Sales Order Number.
By placing a Sales Order, you make an offer to us to purchase the products you have selected based on these Terms and Conditions. Information contained on the Kambo's website constitutes an invitation to treat. No information on our website constitutes or should be deemed as an offer by us to supply any products, however Kambo's will make every effort to supply products to you. Once your Sales Order has been processed we will supply a Tax Invoice with your goods upon shipment or collection; however, we do not formally accept your offer until your Sales Order has passed our internal validation procedures for verifying the sincerity of each Sales Order placed, for the purpose of preventing credit card or payment fraud. Kambo's and its affiliates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel Sales Orders in their sole discretion. If we cannot process or accept your Sales Order after payment is received we will contact you by email or telephone.
Payment Methods And Processing
Kambo's currently accepts BPAY, Visa, MasterCard, Diners and Amex. Please note: a surcharge applies to Diners 3.22% and Amex 2.86%. Payment processing will not begin until we receive all the information we need.
Sales Orders placed on a weekend or a Public holiday will not begin payment processing until the next business day.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding WA Public holidays.
We process credit card payments after you click the "Submit My Order" button.
Where you pay by BPAY you must pay the price payable in Australian dollars as indicated on your Sales Order Confirmation within 5 days from the date that you receive your Sales Order Confirmation.
If a BPAY payment is not received within 7 days from the date that you receive your Sales Order Confirmation, Kambo's reserves the right to cancel the transaction.
Please Note: We are unable to accept credit cards issued by banks outside of Australia. Debit cards have daily spending limits that may substantially delay the processing of your sales order.
You may be required to provide further identification for additional security reference checks.
Kambo's purchases include GST.
Kambo's always seeks to list products with the most competitive prices.
Kambo's reserves the right to change prices for products displayed at Kambo's at any time.
The price of products shown excludes shipping costs.
Shipping cost is shown separately in the shopping cart page but may be recalculated based on how many and what items you place in your shopping cart.
Online Products & Prices.
Please note that all products advertised online are available in store. Online pricing may vary in store and we recommend calling either store and verifying the prices to avoid disappointment. Our online prices are for products purchased online and the same prices may not be reflected or honoured in store.
Supply Of Your Products
Subject to these Terms and Conditions, we will supply to you the products indicated on your Sales Order Confirmation.
When your Sales Order items have been dispatched, we will email you to confirm shipment of each item including a tracking number (if applicable) for each item.
Delivery Of Your Products
Delivery time takes up to 10 working days from the date your payment is received. Please note that BPAY payments take 1-2 business days to process.
In all instances estimated delivery times will be displayed at the check out for your product.
Kambo's makes every effort to deliver your product according to the estimated delivery times provided by Kambo's at checkout. The estimated delivery times are in business days (Monday through Saturday) excluding Public holidays except by prior arrangement for after hours delivery.
Although every effort is made to ship your Sales Order according to the estimated delivery times provided, estimated ship times may change due to changes in supply or circumstances beyond our control. If your product has not arrived after the estimated delivery time, please contact us.
We encourage you to visit the "Your Account" section on our website to view the delivery status of your products.
Unless otherwise agreed by us, we will deliver your products to the address indicated on your Sales Order Confirmation. If no-one is available to take delivery of your products, our carrier (Australia Post eParcel) will leave a card so you can pick-up your product from your local Post Office. Where delivery is by our courier service and no-one is available to take delivery, they will leave a card requesting you to telephone to arrange a another time and date for delivery, please note a re-dispatch fee will apply.
We will use all reasonable efforts to deliver your products to you within the estimated delivery time indicated on your Sales Order Confirmation; however, we do not guarantee that we will deliver within this time frame.
Title and risk of loss to all products will pass to you on delivery.
Gift wrapping is applicable only to small appliances and homewares. Whitegoods, Telvsions and air conditioners will not be wrapped.
Returning A Product
Even though at Kambo's, we take pride in the care we take with packing all of our internet and phone orders, sometimes, accidents or errors happen. Notification of faulty, damaged, incorrect or missing products must be received by our Customer Service Department within 48 hours of your parcel being signed for. Should your parcel contain a damaged or faulty item, Kambo's will provide instructions on how to return goods in an appropriate manner.
If the product is damaged or Dead on Arrival or a Later Defect product, we have indicated below what you should do and how Kambo's will respond to the problem.
Kambo's will not provide a refund or replace a product that has been misused, mishandled or incorrectly installed or serviced. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all instructions and advice or warnings given by the manufacturer or supplier are followed.

Please be aware that we are more then happy to take accountability for faulty or damaged goods. We will not however be held responsible for a change of mind or an incorrect purchase. We are more then happy to provide as much assistance as needed to ensure you choose the right product the first time. Upon Kambo's discretion an in store credit may be offered for your goods however a full refund will not be offered.

Dead On Arrival Products - "DOA”
A Kambo's product is considered DOA if it shows symptoms of a failure, or is discovered to be broken or defective when first taken from its packaging. A Kambo's Customer Service Representative will provisionally determine whether the product is DOA. A photo may be requested to assist with the assessment of your claim. Where a product is provisionally determined as DOA we will arrange a replacement product or a full refund if it cannot be replaced.
A Kambo's product is considered DOA if it shows symptoms of a failure, or is discovered to be broken or defective when first taken from its packaging. A Kambo's Customer Service Representative will provisionally determine whether the product is DOA. A photo may be requested to assist with the assessment of your claim. Where a product is provisionally determined as DOA we will arrange to provide a replacement product.
If the product is deemed by Customer Service NOT to be DOA, and is not covered by a warranty, Kambo's may refuse to replace the product or give you a refund for the product.
When a product is replaced, your replacement product becomes your property and the returned DOA product becomes our property. Replacement products are provided with the same warranty as the returned product.
When a refund is given, the returned DOA product becomes our property.
If the product is not DOA and you find that the product has a defect or a problem within the warranty period it is up to the consumer to arrange delivery of the product back to Kambo's. We will assess the fault and take necessary action complying with the relevant manufacturers returns policy.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.

Please note that in store and online pricing may vary. For these instances we do offer the option to purchase online and pick up from either store or for our customer to choose the appropriate delivery method.
